Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) Recognition
Modern HVAC/R designs and VRF systems operate with higher refrigerant pressures due to the use of next generation refrigerants (such as R-410A, R-32 or low-GWP alternatives) and tighter efficiency standards. To provide customers the highest level of assurance MME has implemented a third-party verification/recognition through Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
This performance minimizes the risk of coil failure, helps maintain system reliability, and ensures compliance with evolving building codes and environmental regulations, making Halstead® Refrigeration Service Coils a future-ready choice for any high-performance refrigeration or air conditioning design.
By meeting and exceeding UL safety and performance criteria, Halstead® Refrigeration Service Coils provide engineers, OEMs, and installers with confidence that these components will deliver long-term durability, safety, and efficiency even under rigorous operating conditions. The testing and third-party UL recognition validates performance of this product to R410A internal operating pressures of 700psi at 250°F, as per the included tables:

Produced in compliance with ASTM phosphorus deoxidized DHP UNS C12200 grade of copper (Cu > 99.9%, P0.015%-0.040%).

Each coil is vacuumed and purged with nitrogen to obtain internal residue less than 0.0035 g/ft (as per the specified cleanness limit set by ASTM B280 & ASTM B743) to provide maximum protection against harmful oxides during soldering/brazing.
